This DVD contains 38 international hits on 16mm film – from an authentic Italian film jukebox. In the early 1960s, this Italian-made box played songs in a way not possible from records. 38 small format films were included inside – an early form of video clip. Riccardo Ranchi dances the African Waltz, Milva stands on the beach and warbles “Canta by voi,“ two youngsters belt out “Sing a song, banjo bell-boy!” in German in front of the Arc de Triomphe. The operation of the DVD centers on an easy to navigate menu that mirrors the control panel of the original music box. A little added bonus: Shots of the inner workings of the Musicbox are included.
